TCC Episode 81: What Precisely Would You Do With More Money?
At the age of 16, I left Nigeria to attend Bradley University, Peoria IL.
1 year before, this was a virtual impossibility as our family did not have the means to pay for 4 years of schooling in the US.
Through divine intervention and lots of hardwork, we were able to piece together several scholarships to cover Year 1.
I remember the feeling of trepidation when every semester I wondered if we could afford another year or if I could afford to feed myself.
I remember working 3 part time jobs on campus while taking a full course load and double majoring in Accounting & Economics.
So when I finally graduated with honors, I made a commitment to support others who had had to navigate life similarly.
I started with supporting my sisters who also were able to study here in the US.
And then started donating $600 / yr for book scholarships.
And... today, my dream came true.
Listen in on to this podcast episode where I not only share this dream, but I discuss what this may mean for you.
